Fresh off of his departure from the Toronto Raptors to signing a two-year deal with the L.A. Lakers, Marc Gasol has said that his older brother Pau Gasol “would love to come back to the Lakers next season”
Pau Gasol hasn’t suited up for an NBA team since March 10, 2019, when he suffered an ankle injury that was later discovered to be a navicular stress fracture in his left foot. Gasol had hoped to return to the court last season, but his recovery was much slower than he or the Portland Trail Blazers thought and he was waived just a month into the season.
Pau Gasol likes this tweet saying the Lakers should sign him, or at least sign him so he can retire a Laker. ?

Pau was and still is a fan favorite among Laker fans as his best years as a pro were with the Lakers as he played a major role teaming up with the late great Kobe Bryant in their back to back championship seasons in 2009 and 2010.
With the departure of both Dwight Howard and Javale McGee, the need for a big man for the Lakers is definitely there, and if Pau is healthy? Pau suiting back up in the purple & gold could be a reality.
